I think, as with the FLEX-3000 is my base on this judgment, it is a wonderful radio, the 1500 I mean.
You will be happy to operate it and you will discovery how nice is ours windows on the HAM bands.
In the meantime have a check on yours PC, this not directly connected to HRD but useful.

Remember you have to buy Virtual Audio Cable, VAC, to use digital modes audio redirection from FLEX to other programs

Now I have the station setup disrupted as I have used it for the DLDX Contest moving all the gears at ours Radio Club facilities, but next time (if you need) I could send a picture of the screen with DM780, Logbook and POWERSDR.
